I wasn't sure what to expect but after having tried a few different dishes, I can honestly say it's some really great food! I will definitely be going back.

I changed my original rating from three stars to four stars. Our first visit was so so, partly due to the service and partly due to the food. Since then we have visited numerous times and it's consistently an above average experience.The menu has a wide range of comfort foods. The hostess and waitresses are friendly and helpful. They are generous sized portions for the price.

Amazing food amazing service been going here for years

Amazing little place. We came across it on our way home. Friendly and pleasant atmosphere with amazing food and with decent prices. The staff is sweet.

The best food and service around

I wish I had taken a picture of my meal. Had a beautiful and delicious piece of fried fish. They serve it daily as well as an outstanding Turkey dinner. This restaurant also caters and hosts larger gatherings. This is truly dish delish!!

Food was fabulous as always, Great roast beef dinner. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back time and time again.

We really love having drinks, dinner, and dessert while watching the horse races in the Mountain View restaurant! Highly recommended!

No butter for potatoes, mayo had a blob of slime settling on it just not a pleasant meal

Pleasant country diner, decent food (though one of my companions didn't think so). A little chilly the day we were there but then it was extremely cold outside - might have been a draft.

The food is real homemade good eating and homey and nice people

When you drive by or pull into this restaurant it might seem a little weird or crappy but if you do go and decide to eat there it actually a pretty good place. The food there is good along with the service. It is a place that I would recommend to eat at if your in the area and aren't sure where you wanna eat at. Definitely going to give it 5 stars.

It's a quirky, little old-school country restaurant-- Mountain Valley has great homestyle cooking, big portions, friendly service, fair prices, and what appear to be grandma's homemade desserts. Who wouldn't enjoy it? Side note: Diabetics beware (I am diabetic and I do mean that), because the sides are all carbohydrates all the time, complete with sugary dressings, but as an occasional treat, it's worth it! Enjoy some stick-to-your-ribs cooking, take home leftovers for tomorrow's lunch, and you'll be glad you made the drive.

Fast service, albeit I did arrive rather late in the day. They have a fantastic veggie burger and fries. The restaurant itself is a wide open space with many tables and littered with plants and your view of other customers is partially obscured by large support columns.

Home cooking, great prices...A nice experience

Chile, fresh rolls and a good cup of coffee. Just enough on a cool evening. My guests had a chef salad and a half tray of fries with bacon and buffalo sauce. Mm mm good! The service was excellent. A young man who also helps his grandmother care for an elderly individual. So sensitive. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing.

Servers were nice and apologetic but order was lost waited over an hour for food. Made us late to our event. Food came out sporadically and no attempt to give any compensation for our inconvenience. Not impressed with the way it was handled

Over charged and lied to about the mash potatoes being real.

Homemade taste to the food, had the turkey dinner, it was great. Service was fast and friendly.

This is a very rustic and family style restaurant that does a very good business at the evenings. The staff is very down-home and friendly.

Travis prepared a wonderful banquet in honor of Marian Lockhart. The food was fantastic as always and our service superb.

I had better ham pot pie there before. We there right before the 4th so, this serving maybe was at the end of pot! Waitress served cup of soup (appetizer) after serving the the main dish.

Good food, fast polite wait staff.

Rarely give a 5 star, but so impressed with the service and the food was very good. Stopped there during the quarantine, gave us ice cream for the dog, used an outside table to eat, and even though was take out, they brought everything to the table, made me fresh fries. Just a great experience and a great meal under the circumstances, definitely will try, to stop by again.

The chicken salad was awesome it's clean and neat. The service was great and prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend it.

I had the liver and onions. The liver was so tender. My grandson had a burger and fries. He enjoyed every bite. Would definitely go back

We had Turkey Dinners for Seniors ... It was turkey that had been cooked in their oven & cut from the bone, not pressed like lunch meat that are in most restraunts. The gravy, mashed potatoes & filling was also delicious. The broccoli salad was very good, but just had a little too much dressing. The place was clean & warm atmosphere. We will definitely eat there again!!!

Took my mom here for dinner. She had the Turkey Platter and I had the Chicken Finger Platter. It was all very good. The cole slaw was so freshly prepared with a creamy sweet dressing. The chicken fingers were plump and juicy. The turkey was just as juicy as well and the stuffing and mashed potatoes were great also. I give it a 5 star rating. We will be back.
